ALBANY, GA (WALB) –Cordele police were called to an unusual dispute involving an ax and a sword. An officer responded to a disturbance on West Avenue.
When he pulled up a woman was standing on the front porch holding a sword. Moments later the officer was startled when a man came charging through a door with an ax in his hand.
The officer tased Willie Caldwell and got him to drop his ax. Another officer on scene tased Annette Williams for being defensive and resisting arrest.
Both Williams and Caldwell are charged with aggravated assault
