LAKE SEMINOLE, GA (WALB) – The search continues for an Albany man officials say was pulled into the Jim Woodruff Dam on Lake Seminole Sunday.

Florida Fish and Wildlife officials say 34-year-old John Slappey was duck hunting with his brother just north of the dam.

His brother went up the lake for a while.  When he returned, Slappey was gone.

Workers at the dam say they saw a man go over the spillway gate and go underwater.

Monday, search and rescue teams searched the Apalachicola River south of the dam all day. They just wrapped up when the sun went down.

They found some of Slappey's equipment, but not him. They will resume the search Tuesday morning.
