COLQUITT COUNTY, GA (WALB) – The GBI and the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office continue their investigation into murder of a Colquitt County man.

The murder suspect is 49-year-old Ronald Elbert Bryant.

We're told he's now charged with felony Murder, aggravated Assault, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Bryant was arrested shortly after nine last night for the murder of 56-year-old Brett DeMott.

His body was found on the back porch of his home on Highway 133 North, behind DeMott Peanut Company, which his brother owns.

Investigators won't to tell us how he died. DeMott's body will be sent to the crime lab in Atlanta for an autopsy.
