ALBANY, GA (WALB) –The Albany Ford dealership will soon have a new owner.
The payroll development authority today approved a land lease agreement with the soon to be owner of the dealership.
They won't yet disclose the name of the owner, though, saying it could compromise the deal.
County Commission Chairman Jeff Sinyard said "We are trying to make sure that we did our part securing ownership that will keep that business flourishing. Keep those people that work there employed. And hopefully go into 2010 in a very healthy way."
The Payroll Development Authority says the new owner will likely take over the dealership by the end of the month.
