ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany State quarterback A.J. McKenna has received plenty of awards this season but he needs your help to win one more honor.
The 2009 SIAC MVP is one of four nominees for the football fan poll National Player of the Year award presented by The Heritage Sports Radio Network
McKenna led the Golden Rams to an 8-3 overall record passing for 19 touchdowns and over 2,000 yards.
McKenna played in the East Coast Bowl in November and will play in the upcoming Russell Athletics Senior Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama along with fellow Golden Ram runningback Demetrice Johnson
