ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Mark Wilson is no longer the head football coach at Americus-Sumter High School. Wilson told WALB sports Friday that he submitted his resignation Thursday because the school wanted to go in a different direction.

The Panthers are moving down to triple A next season and went 4-6 under Wilson this year. In 4 seasons under Wilson Americus-Sumter finished with 15 wins and 27 losses.
