ALBANY, GA (WALB) – As you finish trimming your tree for Christmas, there's a new ornament you may want to consider placing on a branch. For the first time, the Albany Humane Society is selling Christmas ornaments to benefit their new building fund.
Artist John Magyar designed and hand-crafted 100 glass ornaments for the Humane Society.
Board President Jay Robertson said, "This is our first ever collectors ornament for the Humane society. The money goes to a good cause of course. I think they're beautiful. They're one of a kind, but all alike."
You can purchase one of the ornaments for $20 by calling the Humane society at 888-PETS, but you better hurry, they only have about 20 remaining.
