Colquitt County - Three inmates break out of the Colquitt County Jail. The Sheriff says a building flaw helped them escape. One inmate has a history of escaping from jail.
Deputies are looking for 25-year-old Charles Brian Fambro, 25-year-old Carl Jenkins and 36-year-old Benny Parrish, all of Colquitt County.
This is the second time this year Jenkins has escaped. On January 29th, he was caught with another inmate in the attic of Grace Freewill Baptist Church a few hours after the escape.
On Wednesday, Jenkins escaped along with the two others by knocking a hole in a common area wall. They went through the plumbing closet and jumped over two razor wire fences. Ten other inmates were inside the room, but did not escape.
Sheriff Al Whittington says the wall should have been made with solid concrete, but instead it was just one concrete block.
The men fled in a stolen car from a nearby dealership, but the car was found.
If you have any information about the three escapees, call the Colquitt County Jail.
