ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A holiday tradition in Worth County continues to grow.
There are lots of sights and sounds to take in with a visit to Ron Johnson's home. He invests a lot of time and money into coordinating a huge Christmas light show with music.
This year the setup began in mid-October with the help of six people. Johnson says it's bigger and better this year with the addition of a nativity scene and more than 100,000 lights.
"I'm out every single night watching it making sure the lights are on and there are no problems, repairing lights while it's running. Just doing what I have to do to keep the people out here in tune out here too," said Johnson.
Johnson says he does it for the community and for Jesus. People line up to see the home at the corner of Story Lane and Camp Osborne Road in Worth County.
On Fridays and Saturdays a big crowd gathers when the Johnson family dresses up as characters from "How The Grinch Stole Christmas".
