ALBANY, GA (WALB) –You can help put a good meal on a family's table this holiday season.

WALB-TV is teaming up with local businesses to help collect food for the Salvation Army. Our van set up at Backwoods Outdoors in Lee County Tuesday where people dropped off their donations.

The Salvation Army is depending on the kindness of South Georgians.

"We're just proud to team up with WALB and The Salvation Army. We realize that there are families out there in need and so this is a good opportunity to try to get those families satisfied and get the community to help," said Jackie Sizemore with Backwoods Outdoors.

You can donate at Albany Ear, Nose and Throat on Pointe North Boulevard Wednesday between 10 and 6.
