ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A Tifton bank robbery suspect remains in the Tift County jail. A judge has denied bond for 33-year old Imad Sihwail.

Investigators say they believe Imad Sihwail called in a bomb threat to Tift County High School Friday morning, a few minutes before robbing the First Community Bank.

Sihwail was arrested after he crashed his car and took officers on a brief chase in Lowndes county.

Sihwail is charged with armed robbery and terroristic threats.
