VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) – Friends of the victim called 911 Tuesday morning, telling authorities that 66-year-old Ronnie Mullis was found on the floor of his home, near the kitchen.
Sheriff's deputies arrived at 7020 Atkinson Blvd. East in Axson, and found Mullis dead.
The cause of death has not been determined, but they are investigating it as a homicide.
The last homicide in Atkinson County occurred last October.
