Man arrested for Albany murder

ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Albany Police arrested 24-year-old Carlos Mitchell for murder and aggravated assault.

Just after midnight, 58-year-old Johnnie Williams was found stabbed multiple times in her home on Whiting Avenue.

She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police have not released other details.
