GSW's Rawls named Peach Belt player of the week

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Georgia Southwestern senior Chris Rawls was named the Peach Belt Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week Monday afternoon, according to an announcement from the league office.

Rawls shot over 70 percent and averaged 18 points and 13.5 rebounds in two tough losses for the Hurricanes last week. Rawls is averaging nearly 17 points a game this season.

The Hurricanes are back in action on December 15th against Carver.
