ALBANY, GA (WALB) –A 42 year old Bainbridge man shot and killed his companion and their seven year old son Saturday night.

Child molestation charges were pending against James Bubba Reynolds the third.

Reynolds shot and killed 31-year old Tonia Swords, their seven year old son, Kahm Reynolds, then killed himself.

Sword's Mother says Tonia Swords had left Reynolds, but he tricked her into going with him to buy clothes for their son.

Wanda Swords said  "Because he claimed he loved her so much. He said if he could not have her, he did not want anyone else to have her. And he didn't want nobody to raise his son."

Tonia Swords had two daughters, who are now staying with their grandmother.
