Albany - The arson trial of an Albany minister came to a halt today when all charges against him were dropped.
The key witness in the case against the Rev. Joseph Howard changed his story and said he previously lied.
Howard was charged with hiring someone to set fire to Metropolitan Baptist Church on West Gordon Avenue in December 2007.
The Church was in foreclosure and was about to be auctioned when it burned.
All charges against him were dismissed.
