ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Looking for a little extra Christmas money? Consider cleaning out your closet. The Great Treasure Hunt is in Albany at the Hilton Garden Inn this week. They are buying up antiques, old coins and jewelry.

A couple of people came in while our crew was there, but the crowds have been slim so far.  Team Manager Eddie Lambert said,  "It's based a lot on the weather and the weather has been really bad. Generally, people don't like to get out in the cold and rain and that kind of thing and that's what I think has slowed us down the first two days, so we'll probably get going here and it usually amps up really strong on Friday and Saturday."

The group will buy items tomorrow at the Hilton Garden Inn from 9 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
