ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  22-year-old Michael Williams, known as Mikey Mike, plead guilty earlier this year to perjury and gang participation.

Prosecutors say Williams had been the top man in the violent Westside Rattlers since 2002.  Investigators say the 'Gang's  Book of Knowledge' gave them great insight to the gang hierarchy.

"All of the homicides, the burglaries, the aggravated assaults, the stolen cars, kind of get laid at his fee," said Asst. District Attorney Matthew Breedon. "Because he was in charge of the gang. It was done either with his blessing or some of his knowledge."

Prosecutors say 90 percent of the Westside Rattlers leaders are now in prison.
