ALBANY, GA (WALB) –Christmas came a little early for some children in Albany Tuesday night.

Santa, Mrs. Claus and two of their reindeer made an early appearance at The Veranda. Hundreds of people showed up for the big Christmas bash put on for the third year by Children's Medical Associates.

Organizers say it gets bigger each year. It's a fun way for the doctor's office to say 'thank you'.

"We're just happy to have such loyal patients and it's just a way to show our loyal patients how happy we are to have them and how happy we are that they trust us with their children," said Dr. David Wahbeh with Children's Medical Associates at the Veranda.

Folks were asked to bring a toy with them. They'll go to families being helped by the Lily Pad, an organization that aids victims of abuse.
