By Jim Wallace - bio | email ALBANY, GA (WALB) –An Albany teenager is charged with armed robbery after he was caught pushing a car that had been stolen at gunpoint. Three accomplices got away.
17 year old Kenjuan Walker is in the Dougherty County jail charged with armed robbery, hijacking a motor vehicle, and gun charges.
Police say four men robbed 31 year old Dexter Burns outside this Clark Avenue convenience store about 10:30 Monday night , and stole his 1995 Pontiac Grand Am.
Police spotted the suspects pushing the car on Thornton Drive about 1:30 AM after it ran out of gas. They ran from Police, but Walker was caught. Police are now looking for the other three suspects.
