ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  A lot of you spent the day after Thanksgiving putting up your tree. For the city of Albany, that day was Monday.

Water, Gas, & Light employees put up the city tree in front of the court house Monday morning.

'Sara's tree' is named in memory of Sara Underdown who lost her battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma earlier this year.

Underdown was the Vice President of the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Her family will light the tree at the Christmas parade at six o'clock Saturday.
