CORDELE, GA (WALB) - Crisp County's Tammie Walburn has resigned as head football coach and athletic director effective at the end of the school year.

According to a report in the Cordele dispatch, superintendent Jay Brinson confirmed the resignation earlier this week. In four seasons as head coach of the Cougars Walburn compiled an overall record of 19-23. Crisp County missed out on the playoffs this season finishing with a record of 5-5.
