ALBANY, GA (WALB) – With the holidays upon us the City of Albany will have a couple of shut down days and want to remind residents about trash pick up.

Thursday was thanksgiving Thursday so there was no trash pick up.

Trash collections will be a day behind. Thursday pick-ups were picked up on Friday.

Friday pick-ups will be done on Saturday. The week of Christmas and new years trash pick-ups will the following Saturday.

 

Thanksgiving Day

Thursday, November 26-Rescheduled Friday, November 27

 

Day After Thanksgiving Day

Friday, November 27-Rescheduled Saturday, November 28

 

Christmas Eve – December 24

Thursday, December 24-Rescheduled Saturday, December 26

 

Christmas Day – December 25

Friday, December 25-Rescheduled Saturday, December 26

 

New Year's Day – January 1, 2010

Friday, January 1-Rescheduled Saturday, January 2
