ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Former Dougherty District Attorney Ken Hodges says his background as a prosecutor and administrator make him the best choice for State Attorney General.

Hodges returned to his hometown Tuesday to campaign. The three term D. A. in Albany said with the state budget woes, his background as a prosecutor and his experience with budgets will be tested.

"The very next Attorney General is going to have to have leadership, and do more with less," he said.  "Something that I was accustomed to here in Albany. We were always at or under budget when I ran my office, and I expect to do equally as well with the same budget."

Hodges is one of four announced candidates for State Attorney General, opposed by Rob Teihet, Sam Olens, and Max Wood.
