Americus-- Just 48 hours ago, another seemingly health student dropped dead playing basketball.

21-year-old Nyles Alford collapsed Tuesday night at the Georgia Southwestern State University Gyn during a pick-up basketball game. The coroner is awaiting lab tests to determine what killed him. The University is planning a memorial service for Sunday afternoon.

Two other students have died while playing sports in the last two weeks. Last week, a high school student in Bulloch County died during track practice. And an Alpharetta student died during a football workout.
