ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Some Albany veterans are joining WALB's effort to feed the hungry this holiday season.

The 40 and 8 an honor society of the American Legion helped out Thursday night.

Members saw the need and donated cans of food to the WALB and Salvation Army Feed the Hungry Campaign.

"I saw your commercial and saw it was real nice, I think Feed The Hungry is wonderful we should do it all year probably," said Deanna Nicholson, La Societe De Femme.

You can join our food drive too.

Out WALB van will collect food items tomorrow at Southern Elegance on North Westover Boulevard from 10am to 6pm.
