Two Albany men plea to robbery charges

ALBANY, GA (WALB) –

An Albany man is headed to prison for a 2008 carjacking robbery and an accomplice won't be far behind.

Justin Thorpe and Gregory Twyman pleaded guilty to robbery charges.

Thorpe also pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, kidnapping, and hijacking for robbing three people at gunpoint.

Thorpe was sentenced to serve 6 years behind bars.

Twyman will be sentenced later.
