Dawson- The Terrell Academy Lady Eagles were disappointed they did not win their region title. However, they still have a chance to win the GISA-AA state title.
Terrell academy will play Briarwood tonight at seven o'clock at Georgia College’s Centennial Center in Milledgeville.
The Lady Buccaneers, who finished second in the state last season, have two outstanding shooters. Coach Keith Jones hopes Briarwood will not be able to handle Terrell Academy's inside game, which now has Junior Byrne Callaway back in the line up.
Region Three AA champion Georgia Christian plays Pinewood Christian in the other semifinal at four.
The Deerfield-Windsor girls and boys teams will play Friday in Milledgeville.
