Albany- It's the time of year when more South Georgians suffer from allergies and sinus infections. More people are turning to an unusual alternative for help.

Lisa Cox says ear candling helped get her asthma under control. A linen and bee's wax cone is inserted through a plate and into her ear. As it burns, it removes ear wax. Bio Buzz owner, Steven Bradford, says many of his customers say ear candling has helped them.

Lisa Cox says, "While I have been getting the ear candling done, I have noticed a big change."

Bio Buzz owner, Steven Bradford, says ear candling originated in Native American cultures.
