ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Lee County outfielder Hailey Knight is going to play at Georgia Southwestern.
Knight signed her scholarship early Wednesday afternoon at Lee County High School.
Hailey was a four year starter and leadoff hitter for the Lady Trojans.
She was a big reason why the Lee County softball team has made three straight trips to the Georgia High School Association elite eight in Columbus.
Hailey loves the game of softball and is looking forward to joining the Georgia Southwestern team and playing in the very competitive Peach Belt Conference.
Hailey Knight said. "Some people don't have their heart in it. I think I do. I think I can take it out and play as long as I want."
Hailey Knight was a second team all-state selection as a junior last year.
