TIFT CO. - Forty jobs and a major distribution center are coming to Tifton. Turner's Fine Furniture has begun construction of a 50,000 square foot distribution center. They say having a centralized furniture outlet will help them serve their customers better.
Austin Turner, co-owner, said, "By having at in one location, we won't be moving as much as past, it will go straight to receiving and straight to customer from one location."
Turner's began as a hardware business in Pelham, Georgia in 1915. They just moved corporate headquarters to Tifton. They also have stores in Albany, Valdosta, Thomasville, and Tallahassee.
