Mitchell County--  Family members say more should have been done by deputies to locate Roy Folsom.

The fifty-three-year-old Folsom was reported missing on Friday. Relatives put out flyers and searched for Folsom every day.

Folsom's body was found around 1:00 PM Wednesday in the bushes at Research Road and Branchville Road in Mitchell County.

His daughter and brother-in-law spotted Folsom's hat in the road. "If it had been one of their people [law enforcement], they would have had a helicopter," said Brother-in-law Timothy Arnold. "I'm a poor man, I ain't got no money. I had to take off work to try to find him. Then we found him like this. He's probably been here ever since he left my house."

Investigators say they gave flyers to county deputies, but not city police. They do not suspect foul play. Relatives say Folsom was last seen with a bottle of his anti-seizure pills and a case of beer.

Investigators are waiting on crime lab results to determine cause and time of death.
