ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Moss Farms Diving and Colquitt County swim teams have sent more than 30 divers to college teams

The squads added to that number Monday morning.

Moss Farms diver Kelsey Goodman signed with Florida State University.

Kelsey has won two Georgia High School Association state titles and holds the state record for highest score.

She also finished 10th in the one and three meter competitions at the US Junior Nationals this summer and has qualified three times for the senior nationals.

Moss Farms coach Ed Goodman is her father.

Kelsey had offers from several schools but says Florida State felt like home and was closest to home.

Kelsey Goodman said. "It was overwhelming. There were so many choices. I just didn't know where to start. When I went to Florida State, everybody clicked and it just felt great."

Colquitt County golfer John Fordham signed to play at Valdosta State University.

Fordham won the Albany Junior Open this summer and was a member of the Colquitt County golf team that finished fourth at the state meet last May.

Fordham is looking forward to playing at golf at Valdosta State with former Packer teammate Clarke Hendrick and good friends Collin Ho from Deerfield-Windsor and Tift County's Evan Hanna.

John Fordham said. "It helps a lot as far as team chemistry goes everybody will play better. It is a lot more competitive between each other but it is friendly competition. It is not like everybody is out there trying to kill each other."
