VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –Valdosta Police say no suspects are in custody yet after a mass shooting last night. 11 people were shot.

One of those victims was killed.

 

A crowd was gathered at the Hudson Dockett Apartment Complex around 5:30 last night when gunfire broke out.

 

19-year old Sydney Bivins was killed. Ten other people were wounded.

 

 Valdosta Police say the shooting wasn't a random act, but they won't talk about a possible motive.

 

They continue to question witnesses and say they are not ruling out any possibilities.

 

We'll have more on the investigation and reaction to the shocking shooting.
