Albany - An Albany teenager, with a love for classical music, earns a chance to perform on national radio. 17 year-old Robert Sharpe started playing the guitar 5 years ago. He decided to focus on performing classical music to challenge himself.

Now, he's one of a handful of teens that were chosen to perform in front of a live audience, as Public Radio International recorded his concert. Sharpe's performance will air on Sunday April 6th, at 1pm on PRI's "From the Top." Locally, you can hear it on WUNV 91.7 FM.

Sharpe, a junior at Westover High School, hopes to become a concert guitarist and teacher.
