ALBANY, GA (WALB) - One area the Deerfield-Winsdor football team had to rebuild after last year's state championship was defense.
Head coach Allen Lowe believes the job is finished entering round two of the state playoffs.
Deerfield-Windsor will host First Presbyterian tomorrow night at Webb Stadium.
Vikings beat the Knights in early September on a last second field goal.
The Knights have won nine straight games and have wanted another chance to play the Vikings.
Deerfield-Windsor head coach Allen Lowe says his team is much better since that first game and the coach is most proud of the play of his defense.
Allen Lowe said. "These guys have really played hard. If you look at them individually, you would say this isn't the best bunch we have ever had. As a group, they have really played tremendously well."
Game time is 7:30 p.m. Friday night at Deerfield-Windsor's Webb Memorial Stadium.
