Fitzgerald, GA (WALB) – The man charged in the brutal beating of a 2-year-old Ben Hill County toddler was granted bond Thursday.

Sheriff Bobby McLemore says 22-year old Noah Larkin's bond was set at $25,000. He is charged with one count of aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated battery, and one count of cruelty to children.

On October 30th paramedics arrived to a home on Lilac Road and found the little boy not breathing.Investigators say Larkin was the mother's boyfriend.

The 2-year-old victim suffered serious head injuries and a partially collapsed lung and he remains in critical condition.
