ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A second man suspected of carrying out an armed robbery that lead to a deadly gun battle Tuesday night has surrendered to police.

Police say 19-year-old Antwan Smith, whose nickname is Tae, turned himself in overnight.

Smith and 22-year old Kwasi Hobbs are facing charges of aggravated assault and armed robbery. Hobbs surrendered late Wednesday.

Investigators issued a lookout for the two men hours after a botched armed robbery on Cromartie Beach Road lead to a shootout between the robbery victims and 16-year-old Rodriguez Anderson.

Anderson was killed during that shootout.
