TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Tift County tennis player Dylan Windom made school history on Wednesday.
She is the first person at Tift County to sign a Division I tennis scholarship.
Windom is headed to Big 12 country to play for the Kansas Jayhawks.
Dylan, who is a two time region one five a champion, found Kansas through former ABAC player and assistant German Delmargo is an assistant coach at Kansas.
Dylan is looking forward to the competition of Division I tennis.
Dylan Windom said. "It is not like I am going to a low division where I can just play and win, win, win. I am going have to give it my best and try to win every match I can."
The Lady Blue Devils made the AAAAA semifinals in 2008 and the elite eight last season.
