A Lee County man is jailed after falsely accusing two Lee County Sheriff's deputies of stealing from him.
21-year-old Danny Wiggins later confessed he needed money and thought lying about money being stolen from his truck was a good way to get it.
Wiggins is charged with false report of a crime and giving false statements. He was arrested last week for DUI.
When he picked up his truck he filed a report claiming $160 had been taken from it.
After an internal investigation, deputies questioned Wiggins again and he admitted he lied.
