    Five months after the mysterious murder of a Coffee County woman, people gathered Tuesday night in Douglas to remember her and to launch a community effort to make sure her case isn't forgotten. Friends

ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  City public works vacuum trucks cleaning out storm drainage lines, and street sweepers cleaning up leaves on streets where flooding occasionally problem during storms. 

They are double checking pumps at key drainage ponds in case power is interrupted by falling limbs,  probable during expected heavy winds.

Albany Emergency Responders meeting with Emergency Management director for latest update from weather service at 11:00 AM.

Dougherty County School leaders met with transportation director and police chief to go over procedures as storm watch continues. No closings expected in Dougherty County. 

If weather emergency during bus routes Tuesday afternoon they will keep children in school and delay transporting them home.
