ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Darton men's soccer season ended prematurely but the Cavaliers were honored for their work.
Cavaliers head coach Bart Sasnett is named the GJCAA region coach of the year for a second straight year.
Darton players Sebastian Lara, Stefano Barriga and Matias Aristegui were named to the first team all-region squad.
Gilbert Ruiz and Anthony Forde were second team and Daniel Cardona and Sebastian Vallejo were honorable mention selections.
The Darton men finished the season 12-4-1 after their loss to Georgia Perimeter in the semifinals of the men's region tournament last weekend.
