ALBANY, GA (WALB) -A former Alltel manager, charged with stealing from the company, pleaded guilty this week.

48 year old Jimbo Adams pleaded guilty to nine counts of theft by taking and was sentenced to 10 years probation.

Prosecutors say Adams signed off on fake cell phone installation invoices submitted by Christopher Weaver, who owned On-Site Wireless.

Weaver is charged with 40 counts of conspiracy and theft.

Prosecutors say the men made more than a half million dollars off their seven year scheme.

Adams is expected to testify against Weaver when his trial starts Monday.
