ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A lot of folks go out dancing to celebrate their birthdays, but it's not often you see someone cut the rug when the hit the century mark.

It's not usually considered polite to tell a woman's age, but Mary Taylor is proud to have reached 100.

She celebrated her birthday Friday at the Sowega Council on the Aging, surrounded by friends and family, and even showed off some of her dancing moves.

"I don't feel old. I'm not as strong as I used to be, but I've got a little bit up here, not much," she said.

Don't let her fool you, Mary Taylor is sharp as a tack.

She also is still pretty handy. She still does her own cooking and cleaning, and spends lots of time with her family and friends.
