BERRIEN COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A south Georgia man, hospitalized after a pecan farmer shot him, is now in jail.

Berrien County investigators charged 21-year old Eric Seay with burglary and theft by taking.

They say he and 19-year old Christopher Tillberg stole 500 pounds of pecans from Shiloh Farms last week then came back for more the next day.

That's when farm owner Buck Paulk and worker Juan Garcia shot at them and hit Seay.

Tillberg was previously arrested on the same charges.
