ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Three years after Albany Tech started their men's basketball program, the school's women's basketball team is ready to get their first ever season started.
The Albany Tech Lady Titans play their first ever game Thursday at Chattahoochee Valley Community College.
The Lady Titans first roster includes former Mitchell County star and Alabama Southern transfer Jazz Vaughn and Worth County's Ann Wilcher.
Lady Titans head coach Kenneth Williams was an assistant for the men's program and he wants his ladies program to have the same early success as the men but knows it is going to take time.
Kenneth Williams said. "We are just coming around with out conditioning. We are having to put a lot of new plays in and a lot of new material in the first year. It is coming around slowly."
Lady Titan fans have to wait until November 27th to watch the Albany Tech women play their first home game.
