ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The region 1 double A championship all comes down to one game on Friday night.

Thomasville and Fitzgerald are both unbeaten in region play and the two close out the regular season Friday night in Fitzgerald for the region crown.

The Purple Hurricanes have been blowing out opponents all season long but head coach Robbie Pruitt says stopping a talented Thomasville offense will be a big challenge for his team.

"You got to be in the right place and wrap up and run your feet and detail your assignments. You've got to really because if you don't they'll bust you. They're very well coached and like I said they've got a lot of weapons"said Pruitt

"Just need to focus on getting better and doing the things that we can control and going out and playing the best that we can" said Marsh.

Thomasville and Fitzgerald kick off at 7:30 Friday night at Jaycee Stadium in Fitzgerald.
