ALBANY, GA (WALB) -An Indian national who flew from Philadelphia to Albany in February for sex with a minor pleaded guilty to attempted child molestation today.

29 year old Girish Doss was sentenced to five years in prison. That sentence is suspended on the condition he leave the country.

Dougherty County Sheriff's Investigators arrested Doss at an Albany motel. He thought he arranged to meet a 14 year old girl through an Internet social networking site.

Doss was a computer programmer in Philadelphia on a temporary work visa. Investigators say Doss had chocolates, syrup, and condoms when arrested.

Dougherty Chief Assistant D.A. Chirstopher Cohilas said "We chose to be good stewards of the tax payers dollar. Make sure that Mr. Doss is removed from our jurisdiction and removed from the United States. He will not be able to return to the United States, so we've remedied his exposure to our children."

Probation officers will make sure that Doss boards a flight this week to leave the country. If he ever returns, he will have to serve the five years in prison.
