ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Ben Hill County toddler remains in critical condition tonight after police say he was beaten by his mother's boyfriend.

22-year old Noah Larkin was arrested and charged with cruelty to a child.

Investigators say the 2-year old victim suffered serious head injuries and a partially collapsed lung.

When paramedics arrived at a home on Lilac Road Friday afternoon, the little boy was not breathing.

The toddler remains in an Atlanta hospital.
