ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The 18th edition of the Easter Seals Christmas ornament was revealed today, and it celebrates South Georgia's wildlife.

Southern Wildlife is the theme for this year's ornament designed by artist David Lanier. Every year, the Albany chapter commissions a unique ornament to raise money for Easter Seals. Lanier says he's honored that his love of wildlife is being used to help an organization that helps others.

He said, "I was excited to do it. We've done a lot of work with conservation groups in the past and we had actually been wanting some projects that benefited people, so when Rosalyn came in the store and asked if I'd do it, I was eager to help her."

The ornaments are $15 each. Only 2-thousand will be produced. You can pick one up at The Carriage Trade, Royal Collection, or Plantation Gallery.  Or you can call Easter Seals at 229-439-7061.
